The revenue of the Italian baked goods and farinaceous products industry in 2022 varied depending on the sector considered. The total revenue of the industry was approximately 24 billion euros, with the sector for the production of pasta, couscous and similar goods accounting for about 10.5 billion euros. Bread, fresh pastry and cakes production followed with a turnover of around eight billion euros.
