Economically inactive population in Sweden 2020, by age group

Unsurprisingly, people aged 75 years or more made up the largest economically inactive group in Sweden in 2020. People between 70 and 74 made up the second largest, whereas people between 65 and 69 followed in third. People between 45 and 49 was the age group where fewest were economically inactive. Less than 100,000 of people in this age group were not gainfully employed.
