This statistic shows the share of the Belgian population that is at risk of poverty from 2008 to 2022, by level of education. In 2022, 26.2 percent of the people with a low level of education were at risk of poverty, 12.9 percent of the people with a middle level of education were at risk of poverty, and 6.7 percent of the people with a high level of education were at risk of poverty.

According to the definition of Statistics Belgium, the poverty threshold equals 60 percent of the average disposable income on an individual level. People with a lower income are considered poor.
