Take-up rate for warehouses in Germany 2014-2023, by market

The annual take-up rate for warehouses over 5,000 square meters in the occupier logistics market in German cities declined for the second year in a row in 2023. Frankfurt and Dusseldorf were the only two markets that experienced an increase in take-up in 2023. On the other hand, in Berlin, take-up fell from over one million square meters in 2022 to 350,000 square meters in 2023. Across Europe, the markets with the most take-up were Birmingham, Madrid, and Greater Paris.
