The source defines asylum requests as requests to be submitted into a country as a refugee, filed by persons who had to leave their country and decided to ask protection or asylum in another country.
Family members joining asylum seekers already living in the Netherlands are not included.
Only the 10 countries with the most asylum requests have been included in the figures.
