Finland: population forecast by age group 2021-2070

According to the forecast, the total population of Finland is expected to grow until 2035 and decline steadily after that. The population is aging, and especially the number of people aged 60 and older has increased faster than the number of young people in recent years. By 2065, the number of people aged 75 years and older is projected to exceed one million. At the same time, the number of people under the age of 45 is expected to constantly decline by 2070.
