Global average benefit shortfall of IT projects 2012
The statistic shows the average benefits shortfall of information technology (IT) projects with budgets of more than 15 million U.S. dollars that overrun their schedule, by type, according to a study conducted by McKinsey and the University of Oxford. As of June 2012, on average, software IT projects with budgets of more than 15 million U.S. dollars deliver 17 percent less value than predicted.
