Distribution of expenditure on education system in Finland 2019

In 2019, expenditure on regular education system in Finland totaled roughly 12.3 billion euros. Comprehensive school education made up the largest share of around 41 percent of the expenditure. The expenditure share of university education and research was 18.6 percent in 2019, followed by vocational education with a share of 14.8 percent.
