The river basin Göta älv—Klarälven, which is split by the lake Vänern, is the longest in Sweden. It has a total length of 747 kilometers, but parts of it runs through Norway, where it is called Femundelva or Trysilelva. Dalälven is Swedenäs second longest river, followed by Torneälven.
