The traditional Mexican holiday of the Day of the Dead (or Día de Muertos) in 2023 is estimated to generate a revenue of nearly 3.8 billion Mexican pesos for the hotel industry in the country. The holiday takes place on November 1 and 2, though including the weekend prior to those days, Mexican hotels are expected to welcome roughly 2.4 million tourists.
