Puerto Vallarta was estimated to exceed a hotel occupancy of 77 percent during the Day of the Dead celebrations in Mexico in 2023. Cancun, Oaxaca, and Puerto Vallarta are also expected to register occupancy rates above 70 percent, according to Mexico's Tourism Secretary.
