Sale of video game Witcher 3
Polish gaming company CD Projekt RED created RPG game The Witcher. While creating the plot, the creators were inspired by the world built by a Polish fantasy writer, Andrzej Sapkowski. It has become the most valuable company on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in the WIG20 index, i.e., the 20 largest joint-stock companies in Poland. The game market is prevalent among Polish Internet users. Nearly 70 percent of them played video games in 2020. The most popular genres of games for desktop computers were logic, puzzle, and RPG.
