Despite experiencing significant decreases while the coronavirus containment measures were in place, retail sales of furniture and lighting equipment in Great Britain generally increased over the time period observed, peaking during the second quarter of 2021, at an index point of 115. As of the second quarter of 2024, retail sales stood at an index level of 98.8.
The figures are seasonally adjusted estimates, measured using the Retail Sales Index (RSI) and published in index form with a reference year of 2019 equal to 100.
