Leading U.S. states based on Clean Tech Index rating in 2017
The Index tracks activity in the U.S. based on industry indicators on their involvement and leadership in technology, policy, and capital. It is derived form over 50 metro area scores. Scores are given on a scale of 0 to 100 where the best-performing metro areas receives a score of 100. Methodology can be found in the report on page 46.
