Monthly footwear & leather goods retail sales value index in Great Britain 2015-2023

This statistic shows the monthly trend in the amount spent on footwear and leather goods in Great Britain from January 2015 to January 2023, as an index of sales per week. Over the year 2020, retail sales value decreased substantially, dropping to an all-time low of 32.8 in April 2020. Since then, retail sales had strong fluctuations. In January 2023, sales value of footwear and leather goods stood at an index point of 107.4.

The figures are seasonally adjusted estimates, measured using the Retail Sales Index (RSI) and published in index form with a reference year of 2019 equal to 100.
