This statistic shows the share of smartphone owners using mobile banking apps in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2015, by age group. In general, the usage of mobile banking apps decreased with the age of the user. Approximately 69 percent of smartphone owners aged 18 to 24 made use of mobile banking apps compared to 30 percent of smartphone owners aged 50 to 64. The only age group not following this trend was 65+ in which 35 percent of smartphone owners used mobile banking apps.
