This statistic shows the share of votes won in the national elections for the Senate in the Netherlands in May 2019. Prime Minister Mark Rutte's liberal VVD (People's Party for Freedom and Democracy) dropped one place to become the second largest party in the senate with 13.27 percent of the votes, while the eurosceptic Forum Voor Democratie rose to first place with close to 15 percent. With 12.93 percent of the votes, the Christian-democratic party CDA (Christian Democratic Appeal) became the third party in the Senate, while GroenLinks rose to fourth position with over ten percent of the vote.

The Eerste Kamer (Senate or the First Chamber) is the upper house of the bicameral parliament in the Netherlands. The 75 seats are filled through election by the members of States-Provincial - once every four years, within three months of the provincial elections.
