This statistic shows the percentage of exploration and production (E&P) company bankruptcies in the U.S. by age of company. U.S. E&P companies greater than ten years of age had a 43 percent incidence of bankruptcy. Companies less than five years of age had a 20 percent incidence of bankruptcy.
