Number of children adopted in Belgium 2005-2014
This statistic shows the number of children that were adopted in Belgium in each year from 2005 to 2014, broken down by origin. From 2005, the proportion of children adopted domestically has steadily increased, with the exception of an increase seen in 2012. After 2012, there has been a significant decrease in the number of inter-country adoptions, with just 201 inter-country adoptions in 2014.
