The statistic shows the departments charged by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) within the technology manufacturing and distribution ecosystem with monitoring gray market sales, according to a 2015 survey conducted by KPMG. As of 2015, 67 percent of original equipment manufacturers had their sales department monitoring gray market activity of their products.
