Internet penetration rate Japan 2023, by household income
According to a survey conducted in Japan in August 2023, 62.5 percent of respondents belonging to households with an income of less than two million Japanese yen per year used the internet. The internet penetration rate was higher among households with a higher income. Next to household income, the share also differed depending on factors such as the age group of respondents as well as the regions people live in.
