This statistic presents the child's age at which it first started to ask for pocket money in Great Britain as of January 2016, depending on child's gender. Boys and girls had a similar pattern. Around 20 percent each asked at the age of 5 to 7 or at the age of 8 to 10. Around 40 percent never asked for pocket money.
