This statistic presents the penetration of WeChat among internet users in China as of the third quarter 2015, sorted by age group. During the survey period, it was found that 68 percent of Chinese internet users aged 25 to 34 years were using the WeChat messenger app.
WeChat had nearly 700 million active users worldwide as of the fourth quarter of 2015.
