The size of the country and the fact that its market mainly comprises of small producers generates difficulties in obtaining accurate statistics. Moreover, there is further ambiguity on the type of pellet that is produced in China (wood pellets or agropellets)
In any case, the Chinese market appears to be exclusively local (nearly no import or export) which has almost no impact
on the global market supply and demand.
