Number of pay TV subscribers in Canada 2021-2022, by platform

As of June 2022, around 10.2 million households in Canada subscribed to pay TV, down from nearly 10.4 million recorded in the previous year. Cable was the most common platform type to access pay TV. However, while the number of subscribers to cable an satellite TV recently declined, telecommunications and IPTV subscription households grew from 2021 to 2022.
