This graph presents the results of a survey concerning the number of customers of the most popular hypermarkets in Germany from 2015 to 2018. During the 2018 survey period it was found that roughly 7.6 million persons among the German-speaking population aged 14 years and older stated that they had made a purchase at Marktkauf in the previous six months.

2018: 23,086 respondents, projected base of 70.45 million persons
