Per capita greenhouse gas emissions in Canada stood at 18.2 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO₂e) in 2022, a slight decrease in comparison to the previous year. When compared to the turn of the century, per capita emissions in the Canada country have fallen by some 25 percent.
