This statistic shows when consumers intend to start their January sale shopping in the United Kingdom, according to surveys conducted in 2014 and 2015. The proportion of respondents intending to start sales shopping on Christmas Day and Boxing Day increased slightly in 2015. In 2015, 16 percent of UK consumers said they intend to start after 9am Boxing Day, up from 14 percent in 2014.
