Debt securities held by pension funds in the Euro area Q3 2019-Q2 2023
The level of debt securities held by pension funds in the Euro area was somewhat volatile over the four-year time period. In the fourth quarter of 2019, the level of debt securities held rested at approximately 12.6 billion euros, a peak was hit in the fourth quarter of 2021 when the level of debt securities rose to 45.3 billion euros.
