This statistic displays the volume of emissions that are covered through emissions trading schemes (ETS) worldwide in 2015. In this year, some two billion metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalents were covered in the EU ETS. In this year, EU member states implemented the EU ETS. Iceland, Liechstenstein, and Norway were included as of 2008.
