The number of enterprises in the processing and preserving industry of meat and meat products in Hungary decreased by 26 enterprises (-3.8 percent) since the previous year. Nevertheless, the last two years in this industry recorded a significant higher number of enterprises than the preceding years. According to Eurostat, this includes all companies that were active during at least a part of the reference period.
