In 2022, the number of enterprises in the wholesale and retail trade industry incl. repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles in Austria increased by 1,581 enterprises (+1.7 percent) since 2021. Therefore, the number of enterprises in Austria reached a peak in 2022 with 94,762 enterprises.
