UK: manufacturing & construction CO₂ emissions 2040

Iron and steel manufacturing in the United Kingdom was responsible for one million metric tons of CO₂ emissions in 2020, and this figure is expected to remain stable over the next two decades. Meanwhile, carbon dioxide emissions from the food processing, beverages, and tobacco sector are projected to stay at four million metric tons of CO₂ over the same time period.
