Projected CO₂ emissions from power stations in the UK 2023-2050

Projections show that over the next three decades, carbon dioxide emissions from UK power stations will drop to a minimum of 13 million metric tons of CO₂ (MtCO₂)in 2031, and will increase again to 36 MtCO₂ by 2050. This would be a reduction of roughly 20 percent when compared to 2023 emissions.
