This statistic presents the share of social media users in the United States who have used social media for employment-related purposes as of July 2015, sorted by age. During the survey period, 29 percent of respondents aged 18 to 29 years had applied for a job they had found on social media. Only 11 percent of respondents aged 50 years and over had done the same.
