According to the source, live music ticket sales revenue will grow from 7.2 billion U.S. dollars in 2015 to 9.1 billion in 2021. The most successful music tour in the North America in 2016 based on ticket sales was Luke Bryan's tour, which sold almost 1.43 million tickets. Although Beyoncé's The Formation World Tour sold fewer tickets in North America, 1.37 million in total, it was the highest grossing tour in the region, making almost 170 million U.S. dollars of revenue in 2016.
