Portugal: water supply, sewage & waste disposal number of enterprises 2022

The number of enterprises in the water supply (sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities) industry in Portugal saw no significant changes in 2022 in comparison to the previous year 2021 and remained at around 1300 enterprises. However, 2022 marked the second consecutive increase of the number of enterprises in this industry.
According to Eurostat, this includes all companies that were active during at least a part of the reference period.
