Volume of biodiesel fuel consumed in transport in Cyprus 2010-2018

Since 2010, annual volume of biodiesel consumed in the transport sector in Cyprus decreased. Between 2005 and 2018, figures decreased by six kilotons of oil equivalent and peaked at 15 kilotons of oil equivalent in 2010. In 2018, Cyprus biodiesel consumption amounted to nine kilotons of oil equivalent. At that year, the European Union biodiesel consumption in the transport sector amounted to roughly 12.8 million tons of oil equivalent.
