This statistic shows the amount of perfluorocarbons (PFC) emissions attributable to the production of aluminum in the United Kingdom (UK) from 1990 to 2017, in thousand metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e). It shows that PFC emissions decreased, falling from 1.55 million metric tons of CO2e in 1990 to only 15,100 metric tons of CO2e in 2017. The most notable drop happened from 1990 to 1995, when emissions decreased by approximately 1.2 million metric tons of CO2e.
