Outbound holiday booking methods used in the United Kingdom (UK) 2019
Direct bookings were among the most popular methods used to book vacations abroad in 2019. Among travelers in the UK, 44 percent said they had booked through a general travel booking site such as Expedia in the last 12 months. An almost equal share of respondents had book directly with the service provider (e.g. the airline and/or hotel directly).
