This statistic describes the number of U.S. hospitals participating in the 340B drug pricing program in 1992, 2002, and 2015. The number of hospital participants increased from 51 to 2,228 over a period of 23 years. Due to the participation of large number of hospitals, the 340B program has expanded widely.
