The United States was the leading country of origin for Mexico's pharmaceutical imports in 2023, with an import value of almost two billion U.S. dollars. That year, Germany was the second country for Mexican pharmaceutical imports, which amounted to around 1.2 billion U.S. dollars. Together with France, these three countries comprised about 48 percent of the total pharmaceutical imports into Mexico in 2023.
