Figures have been rounded. Monthly figures from 2014 to 2016 have been taken from previous versions of the survey. The Monthly Survey of Large Retailers includes approximately 70 large retail enterprises, covering Canada's largest food, clothing, home furnishings, electronics, sporting goods, and general merchandise retailers. These retailers represent about 35 percent of total annual retail sales (excluding recreational and motor vehicle dealers).
