In 2024, eight percent of respondents stated they had a great deal of trust in the mass media when it came to reporting the news fully, accurately, and fairly, up by one percentage point from the previous year. Meanwhile, 36 percent of respondents had no trust at all in the mass media, a three-percentage-point improvement on last year.
