The British pay TV operator Sky reported 12.7 million connected customers in the fiscal year 2018. The number of Sky connected customers grew from 3.3 million in 2013 to nearly four times that amount in 2018.

Fiscal year ends annually on June 30th. A connected customer is one that has connected their Sky box to the internet and therefore has access to Sky’s on demand services such as Catch Up TV and box sets.
