This statistic shows the frequency at which Smartphone users used their device as a second screen while watching TV in Spain in 2017. A share of 12 percent of respondents stated that they had never watched television and used their smartphone at the same time. On the other hand, 32 percent of respondents stated that they frequently used their smartphone as a second screen while watching TV.
The smartphone has been the leader in the mobile phone market. Thus, in Spain, the share of mobile phone users that use a smartphone was expected to increased in the upcoming years.
