Sports apps are some of the most common ways in which fans can keep up to speed with the latest news about their favorite teams. During a survey in the United States in September 2023, just over half of sports fans stated that they were aware of the NFL app. Meanwhile, only 20 percent of respondents knew about the MLS app.
