This statistic shows the reasons for multiple current banking accounts usage by customers in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2015. Approximately 29 percent of all respondents stated that they used multiple current accounts to keep household and personal expenses separate. Three percent were unable to pay overdraft on an old account and as a result opened a new one for a fresh start.
