WhatsApp is the service most used by all age groups, but the usage of WhatsApp is highest among 25 to 34-year-olds with 83 percent of respondents stating they use WhatsApp for calls over the internet. Snapchat is much more commonly used for calls over the internet by the younger generations than the older generations, with 36 percent of respondents aged 16 to 24 using Snapchat for calls, but only two percent of respondents aged over 55.
