Private label first aid tape, bandages, gauze, and cotton generated 381.1 million U.S. dollars in sales in the United States in 2019, more than any individual name brand in that product category. The leading name brand in the United States was Band-Aid with about 168 million U.S. dollars in sales.

First Aid Kits in the United States

First aid kits are an essential part of any home or office, and while they are not difficult to assemble as a DIY project, there are many ready-made first aid kits available on the market. As with first aid bandages and gauze, private label first aid kits had the highest share of dollar sales in that market, at 26.8 percent in 2018. Johnson & Johnson first aid kits had a slightly lower share of the market at 26.3 percent in that year.
